LEADER
Motivation: Challenge; the opportunity to win
Motto: I’ll make it happen
Description:
You are a self-starter strongly motivated by your own goals. You operate out
of your own inner vision. You have a natural tendency to believe in yourself
and what needs to be done. You enjoy working with others, organizing and rallying
“the troops” to move ahead and achieve the goals.
You like competition and the opportunity to convince others of your inner vision
and your ability to see that it gets done. You have a strong tendency to believe
in yourself, your direction and your abilities, whether completing tasks or
working with other people. You enjoy running your own business because it allows
you to be in control, be challenged, and coordinate plans and activities to
achieve the goals.
Strengths:
You enjoy challenges, competition and winning. Your strong inner vision/voice
of what to do to succeed helps create clarity and purpose allowing you to pursue
your goals passionately. With your ability to persuade and motivate others to
work together and achieve the goal, you can create a strong united team that
excels and succeeds. Your strong self-confidence inspires others to believe
in you and can inspire them to believe in themselves.
Areas of Concern:
Because your own inner vision can be so strong, you can have a tendency not
to listen to others but be convinced you are “right” all of the time or most
of the time. Your competitive nature can have you set things up so you win and
others lose, even those on your own team. Loyalty is very important to you,
but for longevity loyalty must be a two way street.
Success Strategies
Playing to Your Strengths
* Review your goals daily to keep yourself focused.
* Challenge yourself daily.
* Give yourself opportunities to win each day.
* Write in your Business Journal about your inner vision, your goals, your plans
of action to success.
Strategies to Improve
* Become a better listener – learn to listen and take in others’ opinions particularly when
they disagree with yours and evaluate them for their worth.
* Make sure those that work with you win also.
* Return loyalty for loyalty; help others to believe in themselves as you do.
* Learn to lose graciously and from your mistakes without blaming others.
Offline Marketing
Beginning:
Direct sales are a natural for you. You can call people on the phone or even
drop by their offices or places they gather. Networking will also be easy and
natural for you. Join and assume a leadership role in two or three key organizations.
Intermediate:
You can boost you marketing by doing sales seminars, speeches and classes that
show off and educate potential clients and influencers about what you do. You
can also write articles for magazines, newsletters and trade publications that
help establish you as a leader in your field.

You can expand your marketing by launching an aggressive publicity campaign,
appearing on radio and TV, being interviewed for newspapers and magazines and
even by having your own radio or cable television show and by writing a book
